In a selfish and materialistic age we are called by Jesus to be a
LIFEGIVING PRESENCE.

We respond with sincerity and willingness to share His gifts and goodness with those whose lives we touch, so that they, too, may live more fully and be transformed in Him. Here again, it is our life of prayer that enables us to be a life giving presence.

People come to us, write or call us, asking for prayers, and Sisters, who by God’s grace have the knowledge and experience, give spiritual direction. We can also be available whenever a family or person has some serious need and requests our presence: to pray by the sick or by the dying, or to be with those in great sorrow.

Here is where we differ from enclosed monasteries in the Western tradition, for although we, too, have monastic enclosure we may leave it whenever there is a serious need.
